In a celebration for my birthday, I am baking biscottis and a carrot cake. The highlight of the baking session: giving excess carrots to the hamsters, who rejected my offer. They seem to not like vegetables too much, because they didn't eat the cabbage and the turnips, either.Birthday Wishlist:
-someone from Exeter mailing me my history and chinese books
-the ninth lemony snicket (although I think C already has this covered. I wuv yoooouuuuuu.... *smooch*)
-harry potter and whatever the title of the fifth book is, although that's not gonna be out for another bazillion days because no matter what she claims, joanne k. rowling has writer's block.
-a really old fashioned typewriter
-a new record deck
-some love from my hamsters, the female half of which bit my finger yesterday and drew blood
-the carrot cake baked and placed on a big plate, complete with the frosting which I still have to whip up. gah.
Really I'd just be happy with some love and good food. But books and all those material things are nice, too. :)
