I want to work a menial labor job this summer. When I am in college I want to do internships, because by then (I hope) I will know enough to work in some specialized field and actually achieve things. When I graduate from college I am going to graduate school and doing more internships. After that I am getting a real job. So I figure this is my last chance to work at a McDonald's or be a grocery check-out girl, and I should take full advantage of it.I also want to take a dance class this summer, if I have the time, although I don't think it's very fitting with my character. I have a seriously difficult time imagining myself... dancing. Any type of dancing. Running, I can do. Jumping rope, I can do. Logic tells me I should be able to dance because I'm relatively flexible and I can put my foot behind my head as well as other things. We'll see how it goes.
Mmm I found a recipe for a honey cake that I want to try. I will probably substitute yogurt for the butter, and put in more nuts than the recipe calls for. I have a newfound appreciation for peanuts that is unstoppable, especially the coffee-coated kind. Nuts and dried fruit make me neglect meals and just snack all day. I am going to go eat a real meal now, though, because there are no nuts or fruits in the house now and I am hungry.
