the dodge affair is over. i am now completely free of addiction. the reason i feel like a tool buying the smashing pumpkins again is not because they're not the type of band you'd want to spend money on because you can hear them everywhere. it is because i've already liked them when i was twelve and i bought all their albums and listened to them a lot and then sold them or lost them a couple of years ago, thinking i would never listen to them again, and now i am listening to them again which means i have bought three separate copies of mellon collie&the infinite sadness, for myself. and it also seems like i'm just regressing, the last six years were not spent growing up and becoming mature but absolutely wasted searching for something that was right in front of me the whole time, which i took the liberty of kicking into the trash only to fish it out of the compound later and having to bribe the junkyard manager to be able to go trampling on heaps of trash. i definitely think too much which is why i like toilet humor and sex.

that's funny, i've also been going thru a "oooooh i wanna listen to all my old smashing pumpkins albums" thing lately. i had them all too. except i didnt throw them away. so all i had to do was flip thru my cd case. you know what else is kind of funny, i was a big fan of them in junior high, but didnt really have any other friends who were, but recently i've been discovering a fair amount of my current friends were also big fans back then... and seeing as how i was 14 or 15 when you were 12, then i guess you count in that category too. weird! oh also: thanks for the call the other day, i was at the internship and the number came up as "unavailable number" so i didnt pick up, then i got your message and thought "boo i can't call her back." you should visit me when you come to boston. yes yes. oh this is julia btw. =D
